Now make cake with dal

Dal may be a popular item when it comes to side dishes. But here is an easy recipe to make cake with dal.

Ingredients

  • Dal: 1 cup
  • Egg: 5 nos
  • Cardamom: 2 pods
  • Milk powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Ghee: 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar: 1 cup
  • Salt: As per taste
  • Cashew nuts and raisins: For garnishing

Preparation

Cook the dal with salt. Crack in the eggs into the mixer grinder or blender. Add sugar, cardamom, milk powder and the cooked dal. Blend it into a fine batter. Heat up ghee in a non-stick pan and add the batter. Cook on a low heat until the batter becomes firm and then take it off the heat. Fry cashew nuts and raisins in ghee to garnish
