These banks offer up to 9.10% on fixed deposits. Check latest FD rates

New Delhi: Most of the commercial banks have reducedtheir term deposit rates by over 70basis points in 2019following 135basis points cut in repo rate by the RBI. Following the revision in fixed deposit rates, most of the banks are now providing up to 6.8% interest on one-year fixed deposits. However, some private-sector lenders and small finance banks are still offering up to 230basis points higherrate on fixed deposits of some tenure. Check out the below-mentioned options for earning higher interest rate on FDs.

Jana Small Finance Bank FD rates

Jana Small Finance Bank offers up to 8.50% interest rate on term deposits of less than Rs 2 crore to the general public. For senior citizens, the bank offers up to 9.10% interest rate on term deposits. Here are the interest rate provided by the bank on different tenors.

IDFC First Bank FD rates (for deposit below Rs 2 crore)

IDFC First Bank provides the highest rate of 7.50% on 500-day fixed deposit. For a 1-year deposit, it offers 7.25% interest.IDFC First Bank tax saver deposits will fetch an interest rate of 7.25%. Senior citizens will get an additional 0.50% rate over the below-mentioned rates.

30 – 45 days 6.25%

46 – 90 days 6.50%

91 – 180 days 6.75%

181 days – less than 1 year 7.00%

1 year- 499 days 7.25%

AU Small Finance Bank

For deposits of tenure 7 days to 1 month 15 days, AU Small Finance Bank offers 5.25% interest, for 1 month 16 days to 3 months tenure, interest rate is 6.00%. For deposits of 3 months to 6 months tenure, it offers an interest rate of 6.50%. Compared to other private and government banks these interest rates are higher.

The bank provides 7.00% interest rate on deposits of 6 months to 12 months tenure. For tenure between 12 months to 15 months interest rate is 7.63%. The above-mentioned interest rates are applicable for domestic, NRE/NRO retail deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. Senior citizens will get up to 50 basis points higher interest on the above deposits.

But on deposits of 15 months to 24months, AU Small Finance Bank offers 7.50% interest. On deposits of 24 months to 36 months, it offers the highest rate of 7.77%.
