Okra and gram flour can create a tasty stir fry

Stir fries are a wonderful way to complement breakfast lunch or dinner. Here is a new recipe to add some variety to your platter with Okra and a bit of gram flour.

Ingredients

  • Okra: 10-12 nos (chopped)
  • Onion: 1 large (finely chopped)
  • Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Gram flour: 4-5 tablespoons
  • Oil: As per requirement
  • Salt: As per taste

Preparation

Heat up oil in a deep pan or kadai and crackle the cumin seeds. Add onion and saute until they turn brown. Add salt and okra into the pan and mix well. Keep sautéing until the okra is nearly cooked. Then add the gram flour. (Instead of adding the gram flour to together, add it to the sides of the pan in teaspoons and mix well). Cook until the okra is covered in gram flour. Take it off the heat once the okra is crispy. Serve hot.
