Jacqueline To Do Item Number In Salman's 'Radhe', Says She Wanted To Be A Nun Before

Jacqueline Fernandez and Salman Khan were first seen as a ‘jodi’ in their 2014 blockbuster hit ‘Kick’. Whether or not, however, the two would reunite in the film’s sequel is unknown, Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in an item number in Salman Khan’s next, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.

A source close to the project was quoted saying, “The script demanded an item song. Both Salman Khan and Prabhudheva wasted no time in locking Jacqueline Fernandez. Salman enjoys working with her. Her dance moves are great and her presence will add to the film. Jacqueline, too, was more than happy to be a part of this song in Radhe. She is currently rehearsing for the song under choreographer Shabina Khan. It’ll be shot in a few days at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studio.”

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is an upcoming film directed by Prabhu Deva and apart from Salman Khan, the action flick will also star Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda among others. The source adds, “Sajid-Wajid has composed the track and it is on the lines of the ‘Le Le Mazaa Le’ song from Salman Khan’s memorable 2009 film Wanted. Visually too, Radhe’s item song will be on the same lines.”

Jacqueline Fernandez, who will be seen on an episode of Neha Dhupia’s popular podcast on December 3, was quoted as saying, “I went to a convent school that was run by nuns. As a kid, you follow an example and get influenced. I was influenced by them. We were in school, and in church every day. I was in the choir too. There was a lot of gospel stuff (that we sang). It seemed like (I had no) other way to go.” Further adding, “I started discovering boys. I started having crushes, and eventually knew that the nun thing would not work out.” Through the course of the episode, the actor shares how she started her journey in the Indian film industry.
