Real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta and she was born on 28th March 1986. She is known globally as Lady Gaga and works as a singer/songwriter. She was born in Manhattan, New York where both of her parents were working on full time jobs to provide their children with the best possible life. She has Italian and French-Canadian blood in her ancestry.
Lady Gaga did not get to be successful without a fight even with her well established family’s backing. Growing up she suffered from bulimia and in one of her latest interviews she admits she still has weight issues. As an actress it is crucial for her to look her best at all times and while she might seem perfect to everybody she only knows the battles she has to fight within.
She first performed in theatres and was always cast in her school plays. She dropped out of college to pursue a career in the music industry. Gaga was finally able to secure a contract with Sony/Atv Music Publishing. It was Akon who understood her potential and helped her secure a deal with Interscope Records.
It was her album entitled The Fame (2008) that helped put her under the spot light. It was a huge commercial success as her songs Just Dance and Poker Face topped charts globally. Her next album The Fame Monster with the songs Bad Romance, Telephone and Alejandro was just as equally appreciated. Her album Born This Way was placed out in the market in 2011 and she topped the charts again in more than 22 countries. Another of her album Art pop again gained high positions in US charts.
She is well known for her affluence and unique styles. She has quite a dynamic personality that is not like anything that people might have ever seen. Her stage decors and performances always leave the audience mesmerized. Her songs make a regular appearance on the Billboard Top 100s and she has secured herself a wealthy financial empire. She was listed in Forbes as not only a rich personality but also a very powerful and influential one. Apart from her music she is also well known for all of her philanthropic work and her fight for LGBT rights.
