AMU suspends all classes, examination scheduled for November 9, 11 in lieu of Ayodhya Verdict today
All classes and examinations scheduled at Aligarh Muslim University, AMU for November 9 and 11 have been suspended. The official notification released by AMU confirms that all the academic activities of the university would remain suspended as schools and colleges in Uttar Pradesh have been closed till November 11 ahead of the today. The offices of the university, however, would remain open and function on both the days.
November 9, 2019 has been declared a holiday for all schools, colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The UP Government has declared holiday for all schools till November 11 as Supreme Court would be delivering verdict on the long standing land dispute case of Ayodhya. Security has been beefed and all metros (New Delhi and Mumbai) have been put on high alert. To ensure safety of all students, the educational as well as training institutes in the state would remain closed.
