Spread the aroma from this recipe of Shahi Pulao

Today we are going to share with you the recipe of Shahi Pulao, let’s know.

Necessary ingredients :

1 cup basmati rice
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 medium onion
2 bay leaves
5 Green Cardamom
5 large cardamom
6-7 Black Pepper
5-6 cloves
1/3 cup cashew nuts
1/3 cup almonds
1 tablespoon raisins
2 tablespoons Ghee
2 cups of water to soak rice

Preparation method: First wash one cup of rice thoroughly, then soak it in two cups of water for 20 minutes. Also, soak cashew nuts, almonds and raisins in one bowl. Cut the onion long and thin. Take a big cooker and add ghee to it. When the ghee gets hot, add bay leaves, black pepper, cardamom, big cardamom, cloves and then add onion.

Let it turn light pink. Now add almonds, cashews and raisins to it and fry for about a minute. Remove the rice from the water and allow them to cook for about 30 seconds along with the rest. After this, add the remaining rice water and close the lid. Keep the cooker on medium heat.

After 3-4 whistles, switch off the flame. Open the cooker only when it cools down a bit. Rice will blossom with the steam present in the cooker. After opening the cooker, add saffron and close the lid again. After five minutes remove it in the serving bowl and add two spoons of ghee on top and serve again.
