Vivo U3 Launched With Triple Cameras, 5,000mAh Battery

Vivo has launched a new U series phone called the Vivo U3 in China which seems to be a good upgrade over the Vivo U10 which was recently launched in India. The Vivo U3 packs slightly better hardware and is also available in a high-end 6GB RAM configuration. The Vivo U3 seems to be a China-only affair for now and it would be interesting to see if Vivo brings this to India anytime soon.

Vivo U3 specs and features

Speaking of core specs, the Vivo U3 has a 6.53-inch FHD+ or 1080p+ display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage – there’s also a provision for storage expansion. On to the cameras, the U3 comes with three rear cameras – a 16MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth camera for portrait photography. On the front, the U3 comes with a 16MP camera.

The main USP of the phone is its sizeable 5,000mAh battery. The phone also supports 18W fast charging through microUSB.
