Recipe for making Tasty and Healthy ‘Kele Ka Halwa’

Eating similar fruit or eating similar halwa during Navratri causes boredom. To overcome this boredom, you can make ‘Kele ka Halwa’. You will also be able to offer it to Maa Durga because it is made of banana and is offered as an offering to the banana god.

necessary ingredients :

3 raw bananas
3-4 cups of sugar
5 tablespoons Ghee
1.5 cups milk
10-12 cashews
10-12 almonds
25 raisins
Half a teaspoon of cardamom powder


First boil the raw bananas. When the banana is ripe, remove the skin and mash it well. Apart from mashing the bananas by hand, you can also use grated curry. Now put five spoons of desi ghee in the pan. When ghee melts, add mashed bananas and cook on medium flame. When the color of the banana starts turning golden and the ghee starts separating from the banana, then add sugar and milk to it and let it boil twice.

When it comes to a boil, add cashew nuts, almonds and raisins. Then again you cook it until it becomes thick. After this, you add cardamom powder. Now your Kacche Ka Halwa is ready. You can also add a spoon of ghee and nuts to decorate it.
