Navratri Special: Know the recipe of Fox-Nut (Makhaane) Halwa

We are talking about lotus seeds, a halwa made of fox nut. You must have eaten Fox Nut Kheer, but today we will teach you how to make Fox-Nut kheer.
Fox-Nut 1 kg
Ghee 400 grams
Sugar 200 grams
Almond 50 grams
Pistachio 25 grams
To make this dish, first, soak the Fox-Nut in cold water for about 12 hours. Then remove it from the water and prepare a paste. Now heat the ghee on low heat in a Pan and add the paste of Fox-Nut into it and cook on low heat till the colour of the paste turns light pink. If there is too much ghee in it, take it out. Now boil half a litre of water in a pan and prepare sugar by adding sugar to it.
Then put the sugar syrup in a paste of the Fox-Nut. Now cook the halwa till it becomes thick. Halwa is ready. Serve hot by garnishing it with almonds and pistachios.
